Heat sensitivity is an MS symptom that is transient, but debilitating when it hits. msdialogue, a Canadian MSmagazine, led me to Helping Through Understanding which presents an article on heat sensitivity. It helps you recognize symptoms caused by heat, explains the symptom, then talks about alleviating them.
Don't get too excited. This short article simply reminds you of tactics you already know. When it gets so hot, a friendly reminder is always welcomed.
Stay cool and stay healthy!

And I thought the temps were bad here in S.FL!
I have found that going outside to do anything has to be before 8am or after8pm. Gelpacks are always ready in my freezer for wrapping around my neck and wrists. Even then, the heat takes it's toll. I require more rest and less activity.
It's not usually quite that hot. Did I mention my air conditioner broke? Oh, my!
I'm still sleeping under covers in Sattle this crazy summer...but no coplaints from this MSer. (Though my Vit D is low!) LOL always something.
